Twitter reacts to Precious Achiuwa's big block on Kevin Durant in USA vs. Nigeria

NBA Athletics Basketball Kevin Durant is one of the best basketball players in the world, but during Team USA's first pre-Olympics exhibition Saturday, Precious Achiuwa momentarily got the better of him.Durant drove to the hoop late in the second quarter of the Americans' 90-87 loss to Nigeria, only to be denied by Achiuwa. The Heat forward timed his jump perfectly to make a lefty swat and send Durant falling to the floor. Here's a look at the play via the Heat's Twitter account.Well... @PreciousAchiuwa won this meeting at the rim. sheesh 🖐— Miami HEAT (@MiamiHEAT) July 11, 2021As impressive as Achiuwa's block was in real time, it looks even better when you see just how high Achiuwa had to get to make the play. Still, getting one like that on Durant — who is 4 inches taller than Achiuwa — after covering so much ground is pretty impressive.MORE: How to watch Team USA men's, women's teams play pre-OlympicsEither way, NBA Twitter loved the play and complimented Achiuwa for his effort while others joked about how Durant's haters would react to the block.Oh wow what a block by Precious Achiuwa on Kevin Durant.
