Klay Thompson went into full video game mode against the Kings.

Over a short span of 12 minutes, the Warriors guard scored an NBA-record 37 points, doing so shooting a perfect 13-for-13 from the field and nine-for-nine from the 3-point line.

His performance was so mind-boggling that forward Draymond Green couldn't put his reaction into words after the game. Meanwhile, other teammates took to social media to drool over his perfect shooting exhibition.

While it left many of us at a loss of words, we now have the perfect way to conceptualize what Thompson did. Below is a 35-second video of his incredible run inspired by the popular '90s arcade game 'NBA Jam,' the one responsible for coining popular phrases like 'He's on fire!' and 'Boomshakalaka!' It's only fitting, really.

He sure was on fire.
